When I was 12 I became a
christian, at the age of 35 I realized that my life was a complete shambles
because I tried to live as I wanted not as Jesus wanted. Since that time I
have failed many times but now I have learned that no matter what happens
the Lord is with me always.

Man, where do I start?
The time we (you know who you are) water bombed the front hallway of high
school during our sophomore year and came running out with the teachers
chasing us. Billy Sullivan was honking the horn on 10th Street waiting to
pick us up. I wonder if that is why we got caught.
All the fun times I had with Martha Willy, who is just like a sister to me
still to this day.
When Renee Eichorn flipped our canoe at Current River about 15 feet from our
starting point. We froze our butts off the rest of the day. Thanks Renee.
And all the fun times with Dino, Billy Sullivan, Bo Sherrill, Steve Skelton,
and several others. Thanks guys. And a special thanks to Cam West, who was
like a brother to me. We had a lot of good times together (starting with 3rd
grade).
What have you been up to since high school?:
I moved to Rogers, AR after graduation. Then to Columbia, MO and later
Kansas City.
After 3 years in Kansas City, I went to work for a sporting goods company
based out of Tullahoma, TN. My sales territory was CO, UT, WY, NM, ID, and
WA, so I moved to Colorado Spring, CO. During the sales training in TN, I
was trained by a lovely lady named Pam, who a year later became my wife and
we are still going strong 13 years later. When Pam and I married, I became
the father of a 12 year old daughter. Boy, did that make me grow up fast.
Five years into our marriage, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl
named Paige Nicole, who is my pride and joy. It's awesome being a dad. She
will be 9 years old in July (going on 18) and that scares the hell out of
me. My stepdaughter earned her bachelors degree from the University of
Tennessee and will complete her masters degree in microbiology this fall.
After six years in Colorado Springs, CO, we moved to Jefferson City, MO to
be closer to our families in MO and TN. My wife works for the Missouri State
Employees' Retirement System (MOSERS) and I have my own business, Can-Do
Home Repair.
We spend a lot of time at Paige's soccer and basketball games. She has
friends spending the night about every weekend, so we do a lot of
supervising.

Good friends and no
stress!
What have you been up to since high school?:
After graduating from high school, I attended UMR for a year to study
electrical engineering. I decided that was not for me so I took a year off
to work and decide what I wanted to do. I ended up going to SMSU to study
business. During my last year there I got married (bad mistake!). After
graduation from SMSU, with no good job prospects in the area, I decided to
move to Pensacola, Florida. I went to work for Norwest Financial (a
consumer finance company). At the same time I went through a divorce.
Shortly thereafter I was transferred to Panama City, Florida. It was here
that I met my future wife Gina (best thing to ever happen to me!). She was
working at a bank that my company did business with and got my attention by
short changing me some money on a deposit (so I would have to call her).
Shortly after we met I was transferred back to Pensacola. I made a decision
that I wanted to be closer to Gina and I did not want to work for this type
of company anymore so I quit and got a job in the real estate appraisal
field back in Panama City. To make a long story short, and after three
years of dating, we got married. Three years later we moved to Birmingham
(our current home), and I went to work for a local appraisal firm. Four
years after that I started my own real estate appraisal and consulting firm,
which is where I am today. Along the way we had the two best children
anybody could ever ask for. Right before we baptized our first child, I was
baptized myself and became a Christian. We love where we live and are
thankful for all our friends and family.
Words of wisdom:
Thank God everyday for
what you have and let your parents know how much you appreciate them before
its too late. I lost both my parents within the last 5 years and only now
appreciate the job my mom did with three kids in a single parent home.

Stacey Hudson

Name: Stacey Robertson
Spouse Name: Robert
City: Fairfax
State: Va
Children & ages: Cassie (16), and Lindsay (14)
Occupation: U.S. Army
Hobbies/Interests: Gardening, being outdoors, roller skating (on 4
wheels), travelling (home mostly), amusement parks, cultural cuisine, trying
to figure out the words to my girls' music (scary)
Favorite high school memories:
Lunch on the bleachers
with friends, notes written in French, football games, track meets, summer
baseball games, working at A&W, the drive-in, Rocky Horror Picture Show,
always trying but rarely succeeding to outsmart my mother. Doing anything
and everything always with friends.
What have you been up to since high school?:
Tried college for two years - didn't like it so I joined the Army. Tried
marriage - three times - finally found one I liked in 1997. He's sweet and
cute and he likes to cook...I'd say he's a keeper. Had Cassie in 1986 and
Lindsay in 1987 and they are the best thing I've ever done with this life.
Rob and I'd like to have one or two more...we'll see...
The Army has been a demanding, exciting career that I'm glad to say I've
almost completed. The hours are long and often unpredictable, but what goes
on during those hours is extremely rewarding. Besides the normal
day-to-day, we occasionally get to sleep outside, play with riot control
gas, shoot all kinds of different weapons, drive all kinds of different
vehicles, dig really deep holes then fill them up, and on, and on, and
on...hey, I'm serious, this stuff is truly fun. I went to Tuzla, Bosnia,
for 6 months - we drove - and when we got there, I stepped out of the truck
and into ankle-deep mud in my new waterproof boots and thought, "Man, this
is so cool. I actually get paid to do this." Speaking of, world travel is
the big bonus. My favorite places are Heidelberg and Berlin, Germany; and
Colorado, and South Carolina. Right now we're in the "Washington, D.C.,
metropolitan area," which we all truly hate, and I'm trying real hard to get
these nice people I work with to send us to Ft Wood next year so we can
retire there. We can't wait to get home for good. Except for Lindsay, who
would rather be in South Carolina.
Words of wisdom:
Be thankful for what you
have and take care of it, particularly family. I haven't seen a day of
combat first hand, thank God, but I've always been the guy that made things
go right for the family after a soldier dies or almost dies. No one knows
how many days they have. Don't take them for granted. And be careful
driving!
Anything else significant you would like to share:
Thanks to Martha and
Kenny for all their hard work on the reunion and web site. Very nice work.
You made it very easy for the rest of us to participate.
