Hobbies/Interests: Swimming and spending time on the river when time
permits. Most of our time is spent being the cheering parents of our 10
year old that keeps us hopping all year round from city to city. In the
summer cheering for both and trying to decide who takes who and who watches
who!!
Favorite high school memories:
Hanging out with
friends, sports and of course skipping school!!
What have you been up to since high school?:
Attended SMSU for a year, thought that was too much, then thought the
banking industry would be good, (wrong). Moved to St. Louis for a while
then back to Rolla to help in the family business. Married Scott Skelton in
1989 and had 2 wonderful girls. Now I am attending Columbia College in the
evening and determined to get that degree. I just wish I would have
realized how important it was back when I did not have the responsibilities
I have now.

enjoy life to the fullest. Do not waste any opportunities that come to
you!!

What have you been up to since high school?:
When I graduated from Rolla High I immediately joined the United States
Navy.The military has a way of changing an 18 year old kid into a new person
pretty quickly. When I got out of the Navy I married my first wife and lived
in Southern California until 1994. After a relocation to Denver Colorado I
went through a divorce and have since remarried the person that God had
intended for me in the first place. I've been married to Jacqueline for five
awesome years.
Our daughter Megan is 11 years old, she is an honor role student, she's
truely a gifted child.
Words of wisdom:
If you don't have a
relationship with Jesus Christ,try talking to him he's alway's there to
listen to you.
Stay focused on what you really want out of life and go get it.

German Club trips and
activities, TEC, spending summers at the waterslide, doing donuts in the
McDonald's parking lot (nobody tell my kids!), and hanging out (way too
often!) at Godfather's Pizza with good friends.
What have you been up to since high school?:
Briefly attended the School of the Ozarks before returning to work at Can-tex
in Rolla. Married (literally, the boy next door) in 1985 and moved to
Illinois. Worked as an incoming quality control inspector at a medical
device manufacturer. Husband's job change brought us to Kansas in 1988.
Began working toward degree completion at Wichita State University.
Daughter was born in 1990. Graduated with BS in Biology in 1992. Son was
born in 1993. Have been a "stay-home" mom ever since.
